Fangs for NothingĀ by Steffanie Holmes
I found this gem in a Little Free Library! I'm so incredibly grateful for Little Free Libraries and public librariesāthey're such a gift to the world, and they're where I discover so many of my favorite books.

When I first read the back cover, I thought, This is going to be ridiculous.Ā A 500-year-old vampire with a hoarding problem hires a professional human organizer to help declutter his castle before his mother arrives to host a grand ball? It sounded completely absurd.
But I love vampires, castles, and love stories. I also love books that are a little out of the ordinary, so I decided to give it a chance.
I'm so glad I did.
This book was such a fun adventure from the very first page to the last. It was romantic, heartbreaking, mysterious, and at times so wonderfully ridiculous that I couldn't help but laugh. I completely fell in love with the characters. The Nevermore Murder Club and the Smutty Book Coven honestly made me wish I lived in Argelton just so I could attend their meetings.

Not only is this a spicy romance, but it's also a murder mystery, which made it even more entertaining. Exploring Black Crag Castle through the author's writing felt like an adventure all on its own.
One thing to be aware of: hoarding is a significant theme throughout the story. Winnie grew up in a hoarding household, and Alaric, the vampire she works for, is beginning to struggle with hoarding tendencies himself. If that's a sensitive topic for you, it's worth keeping in mind. The book also contains plenty of blood, murder, and spicy romance.
If you're looking for something that's equal parts funny, mysterious, romantic, sexy, and delightfully over-the-top, don't pass this one by if you spot it in a Little Free Library. I almost did, and I'm so glad I gave it a chance.
