🌿✨ Welcome to Little Magic Life: My Story, My Heart & A New Beginning

Before we begin, I invite you to make yourself comfortable. Grab a warm cup of tea (or your favourite cozy drink), wrap yourself in a blanket, and settle in. This is a little longer than my usual posts, but if you've ever wondered who I am, how Little Magic Life came to be, and what inspired this new chapter, I'd love to share my story with you.

This is where Little Magic Life began to take root. 🌿✨
This is where Little Magic Life began to take root. 🌿✨

Hi everyone, thank you for being here!

It's been a while since I've properly introduced myself, and so much has changed over the past few years that it felt like the perfect time to reintroduce myself... and the heart behind Little Magic Life.

The truth is, I'm always evolving.

I don't believe healing is something we ever truly finish. Every season teaches us something new, and every chapter shapes us into the people we're becoming. I'm still learning, still growing, and still healing... and honestly, I hope I always will.

For those who are new here, my name is Michelle. I'm a certified yoga teacher, certified mat Pilates instructor, personal fitness trainer, Reiki Master Teacher, breathwork facilitator, intuitive card reader, and certified herbalist.

Health and wellness are the heart of my life.

For over a decade I owned Ma Belle Wellness, where I had the privilege of helping hundreds of people become stronger, healthier, and more confident. Watching people discover what they were capable of was one of the greatest joys of my life. I loved celebrating milestones with my clients, watching confidence blossom, and building a community where people felt encouraged, supported, and capable of far more than they ever imagined.

Helping people wasn't just my career—it was part of who I was.

Then my own health took an unexpected turn.

Autoimmune and Chronic illness slowly took away the career I loved and the life I had worked so hard to build. It wasn't one single moment that changed everything. It happened gradually, little by little, until one day I realized I could no longer keep giving everything I had while my own body was desperately asking me to slow down.

I wont sugar coat it, it was heartbreaking.

For a long time, I wasn't sure where life was leading me. I grieved my business, I grieved the future I thought I was going to have, and I grieved the version of myself that I believed I had lost.

Looking back now, I realize I wasn't losing myself at all.

I was becoming someone new.

But healing has a remarkable way of transforming us.

As I slowed down, my understanding of wellness grew far beyond exercise. I discovered nervous system healing, herbalism, mindful movement, breathwork, spirituality, divination, and the wisdom found in living alongside the changing seasons. I spent more time in my garden, found myself completely fascinated by the magical healing properties of plants and herbs, and fell even more deeply in love with books, nature, and the quiet rhythms of everyday life.

I began noticing things I had been too busy to see before.

The excitement of harvesting vegetables I'd grown from tiny seeds.

The peace that comes from moving my body simply because it feels good.

The comfort of reading as a form of adventure and mindfulness.

The joy of preparing nourishing meals for my family.

The grounding feeling of stepping barefoot onto the grass or into the garden.

The quiet wisdom that comes from observing the changing seasons and realizing we aren't meant to bloom all year long.

More recently, another season of healing reminded me of my purpose and uncovered parts of myself that had been patiently waiting to shine.

It reminded me that I wasn't meant to recreate the life I had before.

I was meant to create something new.

Little Magic Life was born from the belief that wellness and magic aren't separate things—they're woven together in the way we choose to live each day.

To me...

Making soup from your garden is magic.

Growing herbs is magic.

Pilates is magic.

Yoga is magic.

Pulling an oracle card is magic.

Listening to your intuition is magic.

Watching the forest change with the seasons is magic.

Reading beneath the trees is magic.

Lighting a candle before journaling is magic.

A walk through the woods is magic.

Baking for the people you love is magic.

Healing is magic.

Strength is magic.

Wonder is magic.

These moments may seem ordinary, but I believe they're where life becomes extraordinary. When we slow down enough to notice them, we realize that magic has been surrounding us all along.

Little Magic Life is my little enchanted corner of the world where movement, wellness, nature, herbalism, divination, seasonal living, books, recipes, and everyday rituals come together.

It's a place for growing stronger while learning to slow down.

For nourishing your body while honouring your spirit.

For reconnecting with the natural world.

For embracing each season of life.

For trusting your intuition.

For creating simple rituals that bring a little more intention to your days.

And for remembering that a little magic can be found almost anywhere if we're willing to notice it.

My hope is that this becomes more than just a blog.

I hope it feels like a cozy corner of the internet where you can pause for a little while. A place where we can celebrate wellness in all its forms, share stories, learn together, find inspiration in nature, and remember that strength and softness can exist side by side.

Here you'll find movement through yoga and Pilates, herbalism, nourishing recipes, book reviews, seasonal living inspired by the Wheel of the Year, reflections from my own healing journey, divination, and all the little things that make life feel rich, meaningful, and just a little more magical.

Whether you've been here since my Ma Belle Wellness days or you've only just found this little corner of the internet...

Welcome.

I'm so grateful you're here.

Thank you for taking the time to read my story.

I truly hope you'll stay awhile.

Make yourself another cup of tea.

Wander through the blog.

Read a book review.

Try a recipe.

Roll out your yoga mat.

Plant a few herbs.

Pull an oracle card.

Spend some time beneath the trees.

And if Little Magic Life brings even a little more peace, strength, inspiration, or magic into your life, then it has already become everything I hoped it would be.

With all my love,

Michelle 🤍🌿✨
